Dalliance Dilemma

I give myself
As smoothly as sand
Slips thru my fingers

At eventide
Adds to my vibrancy
Her word in a genial voice

No wisdom
In speech or decision
 I know not judgement

She walks past
Wearing silk garments
Adorned with gold n pearls

Her touch
So cherished once
I’d recognize not anymore

My words
Fashion not her
But the love unrequited

In a trance
Her poet possessed
Aphrodite does notices

Passionately Yours

I slow down
See nuances delicate
In a bond so true
I smile

Freshen me
Merciful winds

My World
With words disarray
I replicate you
It’s enchanting

We speak pearls
Amorously

Be hope
Weave me a desire
You are joy

Infinite

Love betides
I seize you now

I seize you now
Love betides

Infinite
You are joy
Weave me a desire
Be hope

Amorously
We speak pearls

It’s enchanting
I replicate you

With words disarray
My World

Merciful winds
Freshen me

I smile
In a bond so true
See nuances delicate

I slow down

Birthday Greetings!

[I repost this work which is about a year old — for somethings do not change — on the eve of your birthday. May you be continued to be blessed by friends and family and loved ones. . . longevity, health and happyness to you!]

We start liking someone for no particular reason at all
But the reason I call you bhai is not so small;
In time now when I look back and give it thought
You’ve meant definitely a lot;
Your presence is like poetry
Sweeter than any cake from the bakery;
You are the instigator of my life’s happy story
And have guided me on the part of glory;
You have been my eye
When I have been shadowed my many-a-lie;
You are an inspiration
And for me an aspiration;
You are a reason for my happyness
With you it is so easy to fight any menace;
From the many shackles of thought you have freed me too
There were times when I just wanted to be you;
I tell you that your laughter is irritating
But I think it’s the happy part of you singing;
In your togetherness, I have seen the world like never before
I’d be around even if one day you start to snore;
When at times I am burdened your soothing advice calms my insides
I pray to him that we fight our troubles shoulder to shoulder, side by side!

So Beautiful…

Every thought I speak is so beautiful
Every word I write is so beautiful
Every breath I breathe is so beautiful
Every smile I smile is so beautiful
Every step I walk is so beautiful
Every moment spent thinking of you is so beautiful

With you, life was so much more beautiful
My beauty
Where are you?

I miss you.

Attraction

Attraction?

Attraction

Why does it occur?

What happens when we are attracted to someone?

Often we say that we are attracted to somebody even when we have never interacted with that person. We say there is an attraction or infatuation that exists between us. And the reason you give is that you like some of the qualities or the person’s attitude. If you must have noticed that there is a particular feature of the person that we are attracted to like eyes, smile, face, body language, physique and that is because of  how they express. Such as you may like a person’s eyes because of it tells you about his passion, truthfulness and sincerity or may be fidelity, modesty and much more. May be his smile dazzles you because it soothes you, it makes you happy or it charms you because of the innocence it has. His physique shows he is strong, brave or hers shows her delicateness, naïvety and that is what attracts you. His body language shows he is confident and respects himself and others, hers shows her grace and charm.

Simple science behind this is ‘vibes’. The vibes of his ‘charm’ (the character that attracts you) matches with your vibes of search. I would simply explain this as you are searching for your counterpart and there are certain basic traits which you wish for; when you find some of them in somebody you get attracted.

Now why doesn’t he or she get attracted to you? There are also two logical reasons for that: first, maybe the person’s vibes are different for you and second the strength of your vibes is not as strong as his or her’s for somebody else. This major fact leads to love triangles or cycles. I know it is not so easy to grasp the aforementioned ‘vibes’ view. So I quote my example.

I like somebody or maybe let us say, I am crazy about him. And I think that is not bad too. I like his eyes because of the wildness, passion and carefree, fun-loving attitude they display. And I like his smile because of the innocence it has. Now I like him too much and over time my vibes have reached him too, so basically he knows I like him. But he doesn’t like me. Maybe he likes someone else more strongly than I like him.

I have noticed him too much to confirm this.

He is concerned for me but what I feel for him, he may never feel. I still like him and will always do no matter how much ever I bluff myself because the vibes don’t end so easily, until they get diverted.

Now what if you find someone and there is resonance?

The bells ring, violins play and you fly higher and higher. You get attracted to the person and he or she gets attracted to you. Then the search must come to end and you are confident that the vibes are actually getting communicated and reciprocated in the same way and amount. And you are not just a means to their destiny, but YOU are their destiny. And that is when cupid strikes and love happens, in the simplest sense. This union of soul-mates, it leads to ecstasy and satisfaction!

…Cause I Just Love You

You are my reason to smile,

Dazzled I am by your style,

Everything you say, so much it charms,

And I shall breathe my last in your arms;

Your love and affection seems so true,

To make you happy anything I can do,

Because beautiful it makes you look,

A moment to charm me is all you took!
